Two-Tone Cover Letter Template
The Two-Tone Cover Letter Template uses a colored sidebar on the left for your contact information, with the main letter body on the right in a clean single-column layout. The visual treatment creates an immediate brand identity for the letter — useful when you want your application materials to feel cohesive (especially if you pair this with the Two-Column Resume in a similar visual style). The sidebar holds your name, contact details, location, optional links (portfolio, LinkedIn) and any short additional information you want to highlight. The right side carries the standard cover letter structure: date, recipient, formal greeting, three to four body paragraphs, closing, and signature line. The editor lets you customize the sidebar accent color so the document matches your overall application brand. Use this template for applications where the visual register supports your candidacy — creative roles, design-adjacent positions, modern startups, agencies. For conservative corporate or government applications, the Classic or Block format will usually parse more reliably and feel more appropriate to the audience. Edit each section live in the browser; the preview updates as you type. Download as PDF when ready. The PDF renders the two-tone layout cleanly and prints correctly in color or black-and-white (the sidebar reads as light gray in monochrome printing).
