How many templates do you offer?

37 templates total — 14 resume styles (including the new Hybrid Skills format), 8 invoice designs, 8 budget layouts, and 7 cover letter formats. Each one has a distinct visual style so you can find the right fit for your situation.

Can I save and continue later?

Yes. Your work auto-saves in your browser. You can also export your data as a JSON file to back up or share between devices, then import it later. Version history keeps your last 5 saves so you can roll back anytime.

Is SimpleDocTools really 100% free?

Yes. Every template, every download, every feature. We don't have a paid tier, no hidden upgrades, no "premium templates." Everything you see is free to use.

Do I need to create an account?

No account needed. Just pick a template, fill it in, and download. Your work even auto-saves in your browser, so you can come back to finish later without logging in anywhere.

Where does my data go?

Document drafts stay in your browser by default. Optional Share links contain document content, so anyone with the link can read it. Feedback goes through Formspree only when you submit it. Google Analytics and limited Clarity recordings are optional and stay off until you allow analytics. Clarity is not loaded in document editors. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I add my logo or photo?

Yes! Upload your business logo on any invoice template. There's also a special "With Photo" resume template if you want to include a headshot. Images stay in your browser by default. Review what you include before using optional sharing.

What currencies do you support?

15+ currencies including USD ($), EUR (€), GBP (£), INR (₹), JPY (¥), CAD, AUD, CHF, CNY, AED, BRL, MXN, SGD, ZAR, SAR. Available on all invoice and budget templates.

Is SimpleDocTools accessible?

We test keyboard navigation, form labels, focus visibility, and automated accessibility checks. These checks are not a full WCAG conformance certification. There's also a "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users.

Will my resume work with applicant tracking systems (ATS)?

Resume and cover-letter PDFs preserve selectable text when you use Print / Save PDF. Clear single-column layouts are usually the safest choice, but every employer system can parse documents differently.

What countries do you support for phone numbers?

30+ countries including the US, UK, India, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, and many more. The phone field auto-formats based on your selected country.

How do I share feedback or report a problem?

Click the Feedback button in the navigation bar at the top of any page, or in the footer. We read every message — that's how we know what to improve next.
